Learning Islamic studies is not as important as practising its teachings in life. Even the verses that were revealed to Prophet Muhammad PBUH start with the word “Iqra”. And Iqra means “Read, become educated, Seek knowledge”.

- We’ll stay away from bad deeds as we move closer to Allah. The things that take away closer to Allah are Zikar, Salat, Sadqah and recitation of the Quran.
- If you know how to worship Allah, you are in luckiest people. Because if you don’t know, you might do innovation(Bidia). That in return, makes your worship useless. To be able to do something well, you have to know about it first. The worship becomes more convenient as a result.

and action without knowledge is vanity.”
- The person who spends his life seeking knowledge will be rewarded in Duniya as well as Akhirah. Hazrat Muhammad PBUH said:
“Whoever follows a path in the pursuit
Of Knowledge, Allah will make easy
For him a path to Paradise.”
- It is considered as a Fard trying to obtain information. There are two types of Fard described by scholars:
- Fard al’ Ain: This means that those Islamic points that every Muslim is obliged to know like pillars of Islam, and method of worshipping, etc.
- Fard al Kifaayah: The Islamic rules or points that a group of the whole community should know is called Fard al Kifaayah. These may be an implementation of law according to Isalm.
Canada Islamic Studies Course Outline
The Islamic Studies classes are divided into several modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of Islamic Studies:

We divide our class into 3 sections:
Quran
The first 20 minutes of the class are dedicated to the learning of Quran lessons.
Duaas
The next 5 minutes are for memorization of small Surahs and Duas (Supplications). Some important dua for daily life are taught. It includes dua for studying and concentration, success, forgiveness, exams, and protection, among others.
Tarbia
The last 5 minutes are dedicated to basic Islamic teachings and moral values of Islam.

Pre-Qequirements
Anyone can join the Islamic studies courses online. No such requirements are needed. One requirement we have from our students is that they have an interest in learning. If they are not willing to know about Islam, all the efforts are in vain. A person who wants to know about Islam even with a different religion or belief can enrol in an Islamic studies course in Canada. Students will have to write the points during lectures and try to go through them once a day.
The Teaching Method of Islamic Studies Course Canada
The lectures are conducted in one-on-one sessions. The teacher interacts with the students through live classes. The online classes are delivered via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, and Google Meet.
